"Me Made March 2011"!

It's on like Donkey Kong!

I was jealous, jealous, jealous of everybody's cute clothes on the last round of "Me Made Month", so I'm going to play this time! The fact that I now have enough clothes that I've made to wear is amazing all by itself. I will also post a photo roundup each Friday to show you how it all turned out!

'I, Darci of darcidoodle-do.blogspot.com, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-March '11. I endeavour to wear at least one handmade garment, refashion or accessory each day for the duration of March 2011'.

  1. Ooow, I am a bit jealous. But I just don't have enough clothes made to manage it. Maybe in September....

  2. Hey, I'll see you in MMM'11 too!!

I made a small start on the glove making process on my blog today, if you aren't ready, don't worry there will still be plenty of time to get going, and it doesn't matter if we all start or stop at a different rate anyway, I'm sure! When I say all, I mean all four of us!

  3. Oooh, I can't wait to see how your gloves are going!! I hope you are documenting the progress so we can see...?
I think I must have missed that free glove pattern, my parents gave me a subscription to Threads for my birthday last year, and have renewed it for this year too... but I never saw a glove pattern! Dang!

  4. Thank you so much for that link to the Threads glove pattern. Another lady left a comment during my glove-muslin saying, here is a link to the threads pattern, but didn't actually put in the link, so I am so glad you sent it to me!
It's downloaded and I will have a look...

  5. Sorry about my gazillionth comment here... every time I want to say something to you I'm just coming on over and adding yet another thought... sorry! Hope you don't mind it this way...
Thanks for your (as always) lovely happy comment, that just brightens my day! I really hope you remember to take a snap of the hat you are making for your cousin. What an honour to be chosen! I'll bet it is as beautifully finished as all your work.
